Our zip is 29376, but due to tall trees around the house we can only see Western Arc birds. Our dish is 100’+ from the house.
Unfortunately our local HD signal is on EA. If I add another dish about 70’+/- I can see 61.5.
I have an extra Dish 500 with a dual DPP Plus. Any reason I can’t use one of the eyes for 61.5?
Receivers 622 and 211k.

There is no such thing as a dual DPP LNB; I think you have a DPP twin. I have read somewhere that you can't hook up a twin to a 1000.x antenna. It must be a DP dual (or single), that is, a single LNB.

So what is your primary antenna that you are going to take the D500 w/DPP twin into? I have used a lot of D500 with a DP twin and went into a D500 with a DPP twin.

It's a 1K whatever for WA installed about 4 years ago. My 622 is failing so was going to go to Hopper but only have one cable into house with OTA diplexed in and I don't want to lose OTA. Right now with temps in 20's and snow and ice I'm not going to try to pull another wire 100'+ thru the conduit. Can set a post and leave wire from there to the 1k on ground til spring.
