Some of VOOM! channels gone(Back Now)

There is no video or audio on the affected transponders. Just null packets (filler). This appears that their source for the programming has gone down (either fiber or a backhaul sat link), since they are not feeding anything into the statmux which feeds the uplink.

If some of the channels are out on 61.5 but not 129 then I do not expect it to be a fiber has gone down.

Have Science HD, Discovery HD.. Monster is out though (only affecting the voom channels in Stl.)

There are no Voom feeds on either 61.5 or 129. I'd say the issue is with the link between Voom and Dish.

It also appears Big10, NHL, and NBAtv are offline since the slates for those channels aren't there anymore, in fact that transponder is also 99% null packets on 61.5.

At least it doesnt appear to be a spacecraft issue, as they are still uplinking and the transponders are active.

At what cost to the viewer? Lower PQ?

According to the poll Digiblur held for both 129 and 61.5 sat viewers , the majority could not tell any difference at all in pq.

I just got off the phone with tech support ordering a replacement remote and she was not aware of Voom being off. She checked and thanked me for letting her know.

TLC(9488/183), Discovery hd(182/9487), Sciene Channel(193/9490) is fine and working for me.. Pittsburgh Pa area...

Maybe they hit the switch to turn some new channels on along with the Voom.. No I'm not for sure what going on I dont have my TV on right now. I know earlier this morning the Vooms were working..

I'm getting those fine. All of the VOOM channels are blank though. I'm on 129.

I took one for the team and called DISH. The representative said that they are aware of the problem and to check back in two hours.

Yeah just check mine the Voom Channels there in the guide but screen is blank.. I wonder if there is any uplink activity????

I wanted to say thank you and Merry Christmas to the Satelliteguys!

My HD channels went out and I was going nuts resetting everything as I thought the problem ws on my end. I went to the other site and there was NO MENTION of any issues, so I went back to my receiver and reset it a few more times before coming here to Satelliteguys where the HD issue was on the front page and not only that there are almost 40 posts about this issue.

I should have just came to Satelliteguys first. It looks like this place gets all the news first. (Although I am mad my Everything package is going up AGAIN!) but I know you guys only report what you hear, you are not in control of Dish Networks pricing.

Anyways MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THE SATELLITEGUYS AND GALS!
