Some HD RSN's Now LIVE!

Yes and yes. I also have a Dish pointed at 61.5. So why am I not seeing any RSN HD in the 300 range?
Probably because you don't live in the Midwest or Rocky Mountain area. I imagine that you don't see the SD RSN channels outside of SoCal either, right?

If you were to buy the Multi-Sport package from Dish, you'd see the RSN HD channels in your EPG, but the professional games would still be blacked out in your zip code.

Yea, I was thinking that with the Sports package turned on I would see them. But the question there is what needs to happen to UN-blackout those games? Or is there just no way to do that?

I had been under the impression that if you sub to something like Center Ice, which basically provides feeds of the regional FSN SD channels, that having these RSN HDs would allow me to watch a CI game in HD if it was available.

That makes sense but we are talking about blackouts, DISH and the NHL so I am not sure that making sense means anything.

True. It all doesn't make much sense. Still, it'd be nice to watch all those SD games I pay for with Center Ice in HD instead.

So exactly what programming will I get to see with the Multi Sports pack on the out of market RSN's?

My RSN is CSN Chicago.

you will get pregames shows, post games shows, college games (sometimes) high school sports, many local team shows /coaches shows, stuff like that.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic.

How do I find out if adding the package will get me some KC Royals games where I live?

Cardinals Pre-game show on now, in HD, on 368!

So it's not just the game, it looks like all HD source material is going onto the HD channel.

Now that I think about it, there are channels that have been uplinked called NHL HD channels. Let me see if I can dig up that uplink report. Those should be RSN HD channels that show HD hockey games to those who sub to Center Ice.

Edit- got it. From the Sept. 5th, 2006 uplink report

I live in NYC. Will the home games of the Mets in SNY be in HD? In theory? or E* only came to agreement with certain RNS?

Very cool! I guess Dish Network came to an agreement with FSN Midwest over the Cardinals blackouts due to Dish making people outside St. Louis buy the Multi-Sports pack to watch FSN Midwest.
Well really, it's because the Cardinals claim Oklahoma as part of their home territory, even though FSNSW is our RSN, and the Cards are on FSN MW. We do see some Cards games on our local channels too. Oh well, an extra $6/month and I get 43 Cardinals games in HD. :)

Which RSNs will be available on 61.5 & 129?

For those of us with a separate wing dish, does anyone know which sats will have what RSNs? Thanks.
