If I set my timer to record at 7pm on channel 182 that's a hour show, I also have a timer set to record on channel 120 at 8pm. It always ends the 7pm show early and I always miss the last minute of it. I have my timers set to start and stop @ zero minutes , because if I extend the 7pm show one minute, then it won't allow me to record the 8pm show on the other channel. The conflict message pops up saying it'll stop the 8pm recording. Has Dish started running shows past the programmed time? This seemed to just start happening in the last six months or so. My wife and I record everything we watch, so we have tons of timers set and it sucks not catching the last minute of it. It use to be that a show would end a couple of minutes early so they could show commercials, but it seems they run to the last seconds these days.
Anyone have this problem or a solution to fix it?

Thanks.

I know that if you are in single mode (both the HD output and the SD to TV 2 view the same thing), you can overlap your recording times. However, you will be switched to the new show you are recording if you were watching live TV when the overlap occurs. The 722 has 2 tuners - you can record on both, but you can't watch something different on live TV if both are recording something. It will allow you to overlap and catch the end/beginning of both shows, though.
