Yep, and use the TV' or DISH remote control.Important point. If you get HBO via Amazon, you can login to the HBO Now app with your Amazon credentials, so I recommend this if you are already a Prime customer, as it is the best of both worlds.

So how do you keep up with your favorite program in HBO? You can't set a timer, it is not in the DISH guide, and it is not in my Titantv.com favorites list. All this streaming stuff is not for me. I cannot see why so many give up a nice Hopper DVR for streaming. PITA. I hope DISH gets HBO back someday.
So is it cheaper to get HBO through Amazon? How much more per month is it on top of the Prime sub?

Sorry-I assumed you had a computer-my mistake.
I don't know how old you are, but I'm 76 and still love learning new tech stuff as it comes along. Thanks stardust3. Ya, I see the wife doing that with some things that she likes in Netflix. I am getting too old for this learning curve stuff. I doubt my opinion will change.
And I am 75 and love it too!I don't know how old you are, but I'm 76 and still love learning new tech stuff as it come along.
I fully expect to keep learning new stuff until I'm looking up at grass roots and wondering how that happened...71 here but getting tired of it.
I hear ya. Seems like almost everyday I learn something new.I fully expect to keep learning new stuff until I'm looking up at grass roots and wondering how that happened...
So can you log in to HBO in multiple devices like you can with Netflix and pick up where you left off? For example if I log in the the Amazon Prime HBO app and then sometime log in to the Fire Stick HBO app.
Personally, I prefer a "dumb TV" + a streamer (Roku or Fire Stick) because smart TV apps are so hit or miss, and their performance varies. But if you already have smart TV's, just scroll through the available apps and decide if they are what you need. If they are the ones you're looking for, then no, you don't need a separate streaming stick.

Profundity early in the morning! As long as it's a different new thing every day... But if it were the same thing, how would we know?
Which streaming service (not device or TV) are you unable to skip commercials on? Commercial skip is entirely dependent on the service and not the hardware on which you are viewing it AFAIK.
