Small footprint Directv HD satellite receiver

Looking to install a small TV in kitchen...instead of "mirroring" to other Directv receivers in the house, would like this TV to have its own receiver...

But the standard Directv receivers are too big for our kitchen use...footprint is too big and they stand too high and push the TV up too high from the countertop to the cabinet...

Searched online for a "mini" Directv HD satellite receiver but no luck...

Would appreciate guidance from anybody who has looked for a "mini" Directv HD satellite receiver...

Get the smallest receiver you can and mount it up underneath a cabinet where it'll be mostly out of sight, and run the hdmi (or whatever) cable to the tv. Just make sure you mount it with the right orientation for air flow and dont block any vents. Or put it in or under a cabinet near the tv and run a wire.

Put the receiver in a cabinet, configure the remote to RF, and run a long hdmi or component cable to the TV location. You can buy the cables at reasonable prices at monoprice.com.....

Bottom line, there is only ONE size of HD receivers, which will all be H2x models
This also applies to all their HD DVR's, which are the same size as the H2x non-DVR receivers...

He didn't say which recvr he was looking for, but I thought the D11-12 line were a little smaller, of course no DVR on them.

put it in a cabinet and use RF, less clutter on the counter that way too.

And your point is WHAT ?

The D-12 is 12"x 10"x 2".
The regular recvrs are 15"x 12" x 3"

I would consider this to be a smaller recvr.

The POINT is, the OP wants an mini HD receiver - NOT SD. (he actually said it TWICE - once in the post title & then within his post)

The D12 is NOT an HD box!

No, I already did THAT - but if you want to repeat, suit yourself

It helped him by telling him that NO such thing exists for him - but I guess telling him about a non-HD receiver that he is NOT looking for makes WAY more sense...
