I picked up a direct tv dish if i put on a invacom ku lnb on it could i get sat that has ion on it I,m in central south carolina thank for your time

You dont need to switch the LNB out...use the existing one for Ion

What dish is it? How many LNB's on it?

You could also get NASA and Angel One.

If you look on your local craigslist you can probably find a bigger dish for next to free!
I know Bob Jones University stopped doing uplinks for their educational programming. Their HomeSat 87cm Dishes are popping up everywhere.

thanks to all I do have a 36inch thought i,d try to get ion on small dish gonna put ku lnb on just to see what I can get .Haha just playin

Ion will work fine on that dish the way it is. You can also get Nasa and Angel One
