outdoor theater
4200 lumen, super bright, just had the back patio redone with sun blocker screen material, live in a semi-rural area, 2 acres of land, so totally dark, neighbors are way too far away, lights in the front yard do not impact, lights in the back are also off when I am watching, except for the solar lights on the fence, which only comes on if movement, like the dogs, same for the Blink Cameras with lights.Nighttime use only? No streetlights or outside home lighting?
Depends on what model, TCL, just like all the other companies, have less expensive, where the quality is not the best, to very nice Televisions.we had a TCL set and never again the processing on it sucked and it only lived 5 years before it croaked and customer support is one of the worst on the planet.
They do everything in house. As of now sounds like they are having software problems more. Lots of beta testers helping them out. Been following the 98 Q8 and 7.....My Sony is getting old, and waiting for that dayPanels are one thing. The electronics are quite another.
Best Buy has the 98” QM8 for $3000 right now. They do everything in house. As of now sounds like they are having software problems more. Lots of beta testers helping them out. Been following the 98 Q8 and 7.....My Sony is getting old, and waiting for that day
The 85” Bravia 7 is going for 2499. The new Panasonic w95a is going for 2299.
Can’t afford to anymore. My friend is a founding member of ISF and works on Dolby Vision certification. While he hasn’t worked with this particular set the last I spoke to him, he did work on their OLED certification and said it had the most accurate picture. both the Sony and Panasonic have their own advantages and disadvantages. I’m surprised there’s no discussion at AVS.You gonna get both and report back a side by side comparison?
id'e pay the sony tax for reliability and processing.. not saying the panny models are bad still to soon to tell. You gonna get both and report back a side by side comparison?
