Slimline AU9-S and HD-DVR (HR-22)

Hello all,
I have a regular direcTV phase III dish with 1 wire going down to my current old direcTV receiver, im about to change my receiver to the HR-22 and my phase III to Slimline AU9-S. If i currently have 1 wire some said that i will need to add a 2nd wire to my new HR-22 is that true. My dish is not SWM.

Yes, if you want to have the full functionality of the DVR with two tuners, you will need a second wire coming from the dish.
