We live in Maryland. A month or so ago we took a 5,000 road trip. We were able to listen to SIRIUS every single day, with no problems at all.

Started in Maryland.
Crossed into Quebec through New Hampshire.
Went up to Baie-Comaeu, Quebec.
Then up Rt 389, all the way to Labrador City, Labrador.
Went all the way across Labrador on Trans-Labrador Highway. Then went from Cartwright, Labrador down to L'Anse-au-Clair, Labrador.
Then went from St. Barbe, Newfoundland all the way to St. John's, Newfoundland.
Also went all the way through Nova Scotica and New Brunswick, and then back to the US.

The radio went out less times in Canada, than it does at home.
In some places up there the towns are 300 miles apart, with no civilization at all.
We would have gone nuts without Sirius.
We went for days and days with no AM or FM radio (I had to check).
And how many times can you listen to the same CD's over again.

So if you're ever going to the far north/east regions of Canada,
don't forget your Sirius radio. It was a god-sent!

I think most Canadians agree with you. I just read that 71% of retail satellite radios sold in Canada last month were SIRIUS .
