I currently have a dual LNB Direct TV dish and cable for the 40 or so local channels. The downstairs setup is one satellite feed and the cable combining and going through the wall as a single coax. It is split out at the TV/TiVo/VCRs. I want to move the second receiver from upstairs to the same place as the first. I don't want to poke another hole in the outside wall.
What do I need to run both LNB feeds and the cable via a single coax through the wall to my TV/TiVo/VCRs and then split the the signals so I can record one show while watching another. (Actually, if it is split right I could record from the two satellite receivers and the cable line all on different channels.)
Should I try to stack all of these signals on a single line or should I break down and put another hole in the wall? Pros? Cons?
