Is it possible to install a dp500 twin with one cable to 2 receivers and be able to select different channels on each TV?
My RV has only one cable (or satellite) entry point, a switch box, and 2 TVs. Installing with 2 cables, one to each TV will require major wiring.
Is there a combination of switches and splitters that will do this?
I'm new to this so details would be helpful.
Thanks!!

If the Switch box has direct lines to the TV and a direct line to the outside you will only need to run a line to the "switch". In most RV's this is not that hard as there is not much in the walls.
Wrong. EACH receiver REQUIRES a separate feed directly from teh Dish to it. In fact, the "switch" behind the wall plate in most RV's is total junk, and will NOT support a satellite feed. They are designed to switch between OTA and cable.

The best way to handle this is with a 322 receiver, and a DPPlus-Twin LNB.

One line from outside to 322. It's TV1 feeds the TV next to it. The TV2 output can then be connected to the line back to the other TV.

This gives you what you need (one feed, two channels).

If you're interested, I've got a slightly used, confirmed ready to deploy, 322 for sale. PM me.

on all of the rvs i've done installs on, i've always had to unhook that stupid switch plate because it will not pass the satellite signal.
if your only option was to use two seperate recievers... you could possibly tap your second satellite feed into the OTA antenna wire on the roof of the rv.
have fun... and try not to get too frustrated... they take a little bit of rewiring and tracing down wires to figure out how to make a rv install work right.
If you are anywhere near St Louis let me know... I always have fun installing rvs
