They should ... I'll call for one when/if it happens. If they go dark, I wonder if Directv will give out an LCC. I have several channels on the list.
With your ANTENNA ?
Why would you be seeing this ?
Unless its on the Channels call to obstruct your viewing.
Which game are you trying to watch ?
You would think that it would run to just those that would be effected ...The channels are running the crawl preemptively. All viewers see it, regardless of if they are OTA, Cable, Dish or DirecTV.

The license is until the end of baseball season. Why are they still called Fox Sports whatever and not Marquee whatever or Sinclair Sports whatever?

I don't think anything has been announced yet.Do you have a list of what the new names will be?
The "Marquee" channel name (so far) has ONLY been used in discussions re: the new Cubs RSN & nothing else...Marquee whatever or Sinclair Sports whatever?
Not so. My wife watches it all the time, its one of her favorite channels.I doubt anyone will notice the Tennis channel missing.
Don't be surprised is the name "Diamond" is used. The "Marquee" channel name (so far) has ONLY been used in discussions re: the new Cubs RSN & nothing else...
At least not until the next major in January.I doubt anyone will notice the Tennis channel missing.
Not technically possible, unless there are separate feeds. Most satellite and cable providers just take the OTA feed. You would think that it would run to just those that would be effected ...
Yeah, I'm a Dish subscriber but moving to Birmingham, AL due to a job change. While my wife stays behind to sell the house, I'm in a nice extended stay apartment complex and was pleased to see I had cable with a DVR: ATT UVerse. Better than the cable you get in, for example, a hotel room. Been here two weeks.
Then I see the scroll on the ABC station, ATT/Directv is going to take this channel away this coming Friday (27th.) Argh. I cannot get away from channel blackouts. I've been a sat subscriber since my first sub to Directv back in 1995, and it seems the last 5 years have been non-stop blackouts and hostage taking no matter whether it's Dish, Directv, etc.
