Sinclair buys KJZZ Salt Lake CIty, UT

Sinclair now has a duopoly in SLC with the purchase of KJZZ 14

They already own the CBS affiliate there (KUTV which also has the My affiliate KMYU as a sub. KMYU is based in St George, UT which is in the far SW part of the state and does not reach SLC)

KJZZ was owned by Larry Miller Corporation (Larry Miller died in 08 but his family has run the business including the Utah Jazz since) but the station was run by the NBC there (which is owned by the mormons)

So obviously that agreement will end

current no station there has Comet so I'm sure that will show up there after the dust settles
Grit is currently there on a different station
