simple Newby question

Sorry this is probably a dumb question but I am just waiting to get my service installed. I am currently eligible for Locals but I was wondering will the CBS/NBC/ABC/FOX E and W open as well? Or are they just for out of market people.

Those are usually for folks who do not get locals OTA, or cannot (such as Big Sky, Montana, no OTA is even remotely available, so they give you E/W locals)

If you are in a particiating area and have HD, you may be able to get CBS E and W in HD for $1.75 for one or $2.50 for both (i think these are the prices). These are channel 80 and 81.

If you get your locals, i would say that you will not get the other ones.

The info you need can be found here. If you reside in a listed DMA than you usually will not get the E/W feeds. However they do make mistakes, I am now getting all of these feeds but I know I am not eligible as I live in a grade A signal location.
