I live in Iowa and wonder what signal strength I should be getting for the 129 satellite. Some channels I watch are having a pixellation problem. I have a 1000.2 satellite dish and I am receiving a signal strength in the upper 40's on most transponders. My receiver is a 622. What are most people getting on 129?

Mine run from 47 to 62, this is lower then 110 or 119. but this is normal for my area. Maybe someone in your area will chime in, this will give you a better idea of what you should expect.

MPEG4 8PSK (which most of 129 is) will always read lower
Check TP21 which is QPSK and see how much higher the signal is versus the others

but the way for the OP I'm in Minneapolis and they all read 53-56 or so. This is on TP17-32 (except 21 which reads 71). 1-16 are spotbeams so I dont care about them except the one my locals are on

I'm in Bay Area, Calif, and have no signal on 129. I was having pixelation issues the past few days but I thought it might be the storm that was coming through but today it is pretty clear slightly overcast weather. 110 and 119 have clear signal but 129 has no signal this morning.

P.S. Also, lost many channels from 129.

Your dish is out of alignment then, have had no issues on the 3 jobs I have done so far today. In the Bay Area.

You can check what the averages are on the list in this thread

Guess I should call it in then?

If you haven't had this taken care of, feel free to send me a PM and I can get it done for you
