signal problem on one of my channel

when i put a ladder under my attena to ajjust the position i am able to receve CBS out of la Crosse, WI but when i take the ladder down i lose the signal for CBS

Your antenna is in a dead spot with respect to that channel.

Movie it up or down 2-3 feet or right, left or back, forward to find a non-null point for all your channels.

Sounds like spiegelj07 is getting a CBS reflection off the ladder and onto the antenna pickup elements. Out of curiosity, is CBS in your area VHF or UHF?
