Signal drop with 1000.4 (getting half of what I was getting before) Can't peak above 32

As stated in the title, signal strength has dropped with the with 1000.4 I was getting around 60 and now I I am getting around 31. I can turn (left/right and up/down) and see the signal completely drop and come back. The max I can peak sat 72 is 32, with sat 61.5 & 79 coming in at about 30 also.

I had to brush snow off the dish a couple of times this winter (whcih I do very gently).. Any ideas why I can't peak sat 72 above 32?

It sounds like your antenna needs to be repointed.

Does it appear to be bent or warped? check connections as well, unless that is the reading you are getting at the dish, then it could be your lnb...

What type of receiver? As a tech ive had to replace countless 722 reveivers for low signal when everything else is fine. Just the 722 not the 722k.

Having similar problem with my 1000.4 EA, except it is only the 61.5 sat. 72 is still in the 50's, 61.5 is down to low 30's. It seems to have begun around the time the new E16 sat was moved into position at 61.5. I also have picture breakup on some channels (329, 330) looks like a cross talk with another channel.

Have you checked to see if the mast is still level?
