What's the best way to setup 32 tuners using 2 SWM-16's and still have whole home viewing work on all my boxes?

Just google swm 32 diagram and should find many ways to do it, here is the "official way"

Is that way better than using a Sonora SWM-E2 to connect them?

Their is many different ways to do it, what you are suggesting I would say is the simplest to me.... some people just use 4 simple coax jumpers instead of that sonora adapter....

The E2 isn't even supplied to in house installers anymore, just power passing splitters.

You would need 2 broadband DECAs and as long as they are connected to the same router this should allow whole home across both SWM 16s

having never seen a SWM setup with more then 16 tuners, i would imagine the least problematic way would be to use 2 deca's. are you saying you could diplex the two 16's together and just install a single deca?

This is from solid signal, it shows it quite well, it will also work via genie to distribute the internet as well, just terminate the port on the 4 way splitter.

That is interesting. I always seem to have issues with the 2 deccas seeing each other as they run through my home network.

I wonder if there would be any benefit using a separate router to keep all the ip addresses on a separate network ?
