So much for my privacy information with VOOM. Today I got a personal letter from a local E* company telling me they know I am a soon to be former V* customer and are offering me a fantastic deal with them so I won't lose any precious moments of wonderful HD satellite programming. Yeah....right!!

And tonight I get a telephone message from another company telling me they know I am about to lose my V* service and urging me to sign up for their fantastic deal with E*.

Thanks Chuckie...I think I'll break out the Preparation H.

I got a call tonight too. I don't think it was Voom. I think it's the Installs inc database that is open to prying eyes of installers looking for a buck (and no doubt a commision). I got a call tonight for a Voom installer pitching a Voom alternative while I was on the other line with Cox activating my HD DVR.
