:confused:The problem I am having is that when I switch between my Local HD channels and some of the other HD Channels (ESPN, Sunday Ticket HD) I keep getting the Searching for Signal on Satellite in 2 (771). Usually the channel eventually comes on, but it takes anywhere from a few seconds to a few minutes. Rebooting the box usually corrects the problem for a little bit, but it eventually happens again. This is a new install, I had done on the 8/29. I have one black DVR box hooked up to the dish. Is there anything else I can try to correct this, before having to contact Directv. Also all the signal strengths appear to be in the high 80's to low 90's.

Welcome to the forum!

What model DVR do you have? You can find out by opening the access card door. My first assumption is that you have a bad B-Band Converter on your 2nd tuner if it is an HD DVR. You can request a new B-Band Converter for free by contacting DirecTV.

Tip: It doesn't hurt to have one or two on hand just in case they ever go out in the future.

Thanks for the welcome, It is a HD DVR, I believe it is the HR-21, the tech told me that it is the newest model.

I switched the lines in to the two tuners, and still the same problem. Anyone else have any ideas what can be wrong
