Sean Avery suspended... for this?

If they seats on the glass you would have gone;)

OK, you got me there. Those are hard to come by, and my wife was upset that we didn't take the mid lower-bowl seats as it was.

Mid lower bowl are much better.
I've had seats two rows from the glass, it was great for the action in the end we were in . ( I was right at the faceoff circle in one end), I'll never forget it, but because your so close to the glass, you cannot see anything on the other end.
If you have the chance, go for the Mid Lower seats.

When I do get up there, I usually get a few rows up in the upper level, I can see everything from there.

When I go to Pens games, every seat I've had was good except for the C-section on the ends. The seats above you blocks out the jumbotron, and you can't see the shots, time, score or the funny videos they play.

The best seats I've been in we're those corporate boxes, my work use to get tickets and let the managers go to games for free. Those were great, comfortable seats, floor isn't sticky, have arm and leg room to stretch out, a couch to lay on if you want and best of all free food and beer.:hungry::D

Sean Avery gets suspended for saying something idiotic, while THIS is sanctioned by the NHL:

Of course it's funny that it's being done by the stupid-landers, but you can probably take a photo like this at any rink near you...not to mention football stadium or basketball arena.

This is why the suspension made no sense.

Let's see if I got this right? Avery gets suspended for talking about something that anyperson who has gotten laid in their life has said, while another player kills a teammate in a car crash doesn't miss a game?

They aren't the only team with cheerleaders (or Ice Dancers), IIRC.

The combative forward was eligible to return from a six-game suspension Sunday, but the Stars instead announced Avery will not rejoin the team -- ever.

Dallas coach Dave Tippett was furious because Avery defied him by even speaking to those reporters. The next day, Tippett made it clear he didn't want Avery back, as did team leaders Mike Modano and Marty Turco.

look at Ray Lewis, he did far worse than anyone else in the NFL, but he didn't get in trouble for anything.
He was acquitted of charges, and also paid a record (at the time) $250,000 fine to the NFL, as well as a year probation and other civil fines stemming from the incident. Granted he didn't go to prison, but he didn't exactly get off clean and clear.

What I'm saying is that is all he got for what he did, Pac-Man gets suspended for a year, and he didn't even shoot the guy.

Don't get me wrong, I think Pac-man got what he deserves, but Ray Lewis didn't.

Not fully into the story on Avery right now, but with the Stars working on releaing him. Sounds like there is more to the story???
