NTSC & SDTV are the same thing. I think you mean that all the inputs on the TV such as component, composite & S-Video would need to be done.

Correct, input/scan rate. In my case it was 480P and 1080i (2 inputs)

Yes, the picture is definately red and the darks run together much like D* does. However, I got called 'crazy' last time I said this.

The first stbs that I got I saw the same red push that you guys are seeing. But since mine were swapped I have not seen this. Is this your first stb or second?
