SC's DSR205 is definately a slow box...

I finally got everything up and running.. dishes mounted, wires run, and reciever active...

But I will say, that the DSR205 has a very good image, but is SLOW AS HELL to do anything. Its almost like the old DCT2000 cable box, but worse..

If anyone here wants to get a new setup, definately avoid the DSR205, and spring for the DSR315.. its only $10 more, and I think its worth it.

I agree with you 100% the picture quailty on starchoice is the best that I have seen, except voom. I have a DSR-500 and the guide is well great, I would get the DSR-315 also, nice set up, enjoy!

I've got the 315 and its a nice box. I was thinking of getting a 205 for the 2nd room, but I might just get another 315

The 205 has good picture quality, but the channel changing is really mind-numbingly slow... If you are not going to change channels that much, or are not much of a channel surfer, then the 205 would do you for a 2nd room.

since I generally stick to the 600s (TMN), it works out pretty good for me, but its still annoying ;)
