Nevermind...making an obscure reference here...
For me the other big news was the news of OTA and integrated Hopper support coming this summer. Now a lot of folks were expecting this, so they might not consider it news, but I got to be honest, with all the work they have done on the Hopper in just a few months time, this really is the best DVR system ever made. With the addition of OTA and dual hopper integration there really is no reason in the world not to get one.

This is a MAJOR DOWNGRADE from the 722 receiver.
I understand the manual record function was removed from the 922 and that's the code Hopper is based on. However, I think it's a major mistake to remove that feature. I guess I'll be stuck with the 722 receiver forever

Since timers set from DRA usually never work it really makes no sense to recommend them.

Unreliable workarounds that are inconvenient don't solve a thing.
