Well, Scott, at the first of April, you said there was major National HD coming to Dish in April. It's getting very close to May and I only see SciFi, USA, and CNN. What happened to your prediction.?

At the time of the prediction, they probably had every intention to to what was forecast in April.

It has nothing to do with Scott.
He gave us the information his sources gave him. The fact that that info was wrong (it's likely Dish never had any intention of launching a slew of national HD any time soon) is not his fault.
All in all, I'd rather have Scott pass on the rumors than have him not pass them on.

With the HD only PKG your supposed to get just the hd channeles correct? Why am I getting Bravo and TCM?They just came on today.

I read the blog today when you posted it. Now I have to ask this in all seriousness.
Do you really believe this is what your contacts meant when they said lots more HD by April 30?
Or, are you just as flummoxed as the average Joe and trying to turn lemons into lemonade?

I choose to look at it half full.
Plus I know a lot of the guys who work at the uplinks and know of all the work going on there. Between new HD (local and National) they are also doing a lot getting ready for Eastern Arc.
With that said I know they are not sitting on their hands doing nothing, yet by the same token I don't know why they have other HD channels ready and running but have not turned them on yet. WHAT ARE THEY WAITING FOR?
If you look at the big picture, Dish did add a lot of HD in April, unfortunately it was not a lot of national HD. But uplinking over 100 HD channels in 3 weeks is a big job and they pulled it off.
It is not Scott's fault there are not more national HD channels on Dish. To paraphrase the Red Sox - Manny saying; " That's Dish being Dish."
What I wonder is when Scott's contacts at Dish tell him there will be a lot more HD in April; does he ask for clarification? Such as - Do you mean local HD? National HD? How many national HD channels? Do you mean ESPN News Hd? WGN HD? etc.
I do like reading Scott's reports on what he hears from his Dish contacts. If I didn't I wouldn't check out this site so often.
