Hello guys, will a 6ft dish work in Modesto, Ca for Satmex?
For C-Band

I looked at the footprint map. It looks like it should as you are still in the strongest signal area of the footprint.

Thanks yankee, how do you like your 7.5 perfect 10. Going to start looking for a 6footer, which sponsor has the best?

It does real good but some of the S2 are touchy...I think I get all of them that other people get but you have to be spot on to do it. They say if you can, get a 10', but 8' I hear is pretty good. Point is...don't chance it...those S2 HD channels are a pain.

I haven't dealt with sponsors on dishes. I have another 7.5 in the shed. Had two of them gave to me years ago. Would like to find a good 10' and put that up along with my 7.5 since my neighbors cut their tree down.

I have heard the 6' solid dishes are real good. No signal passes through at all!

You should look around before you buy one. You just might find a freebie...post on CL and here for one. Can't hurt.

Yes, I hear the 6ft or 8ft spun aluminum made by True Focus, company Anderson are good dishes.
Will start scouting the area for a freebie.

Do you have a ku and cband lnb on the 6 foot dish? Is your dish stationary. thnks for response
