Looking at the bitrates again this week, still looks like slates. Static rate just under 4 megabits.

That's real easy - He should just raise our rates by a few more dollars per month and hire Americans to be CSR's...I am sure we would love it.

Well, there may not be any even then.

Fact is, no one who posts here knows for certain when we'll get new HD (maybe even Dish doesn't know). We'll all just have to get used to waiting. Presumably, once the new sats launch, we'll get something.

I'm all for looking on the bright side, but the reality is that a channel that I, and a lot of other people, watch (SCIFI) has been available in HD for three months now, and Dish still doesn't have it. I guess if some folks never watch SCIFI, then they can look on the bright side. But those of us who really want this channel (even if it's just to watch one show -- SGA -- in HD), the bright side ain't so bright.

But seriously, digi has some magical powers. Do you know where that ever elusive switch is? Maybe you are the one who can sneak over there and flip it so SciFi and USA in HD are on.

If you can, we must all be very quiet here so nobody at Dish notices.
