SatelliteGuys November 19th Live Dish Retailer Chat Recap

Ok so does the DVR feature work on 411's just like the 211's? Does the one time fee of 39.99 included both of my receivers or do I need to pay a fee for the 411 and the 211?
There is NO Monthly DVR fee correct so its the one time $39.99 fee and that's it?

I have been thinking about getting a DVR but I might wait for this new 922 that they have been talking about some.

Louisville is now officially an Eastern Arc preferred setup. Cheap and easy to add a wing dish to the existing customer's 1000.2 dish. New HD customers will get the EA dish as well as existing ones willing to pay for it themselves. I installed a 77 wing dish and all nine locals are now on 77 except there are no SD versions of the three HD locals.

But who wants a 2nd dish on their house? Not me. In my situation, 10 years ago, they mounted the dish on my chimney, which at first I didn't really care for. But it has grown on me. The problem is that to get the EA, the dish would have to be mounted on the opposite side of the chimney & would probably require all new cabling from the dish to the receivers. No thanks. I ran the cabling myself because I did not want installers falling through my ceilings or screwing up things in the crawl space. Now I am too old to crawl around on my stomach & duck walk in the attic.

I thought I read that the 222 would not be supported at this time, maybe I'm wrong.

222 is already buggy enough.

Perhaps the software words differently for the 222 than it will on the 211 due to the dual tuners. It is going to be more complex.

The 222 will have to have three more streams, an extra buffer stream, an extra record stream and an extra play stream, all for the extra tuner and output on the 222.
