While track loaders are good, they only provide a +1 advantage over Hu-9s, which drop much more frequently and for less energy. I have focused much more on them, and it has generally paid off.
I'm in.Someone sent me a Thai Passport.I tried sending 2 passports,you were one Paul,but it told me I was out of invites for the day.It looks very similar.The mafia store is called the "Faction store" now.If you "PI*S OFF "one of the factcions,Tridad or Yakuza,they will cut you off from buying items in the store.Doing a job for one,gets the other mad at you and they lose respect for you.There's a gauge that tells you your relations with both mafias.I'm going to continue working on Moscow.I'm 3/4 of the way through it.

Correction to the above post The Faction store is in addition to the regular mafia store.That's where you buy faction exclusive items.

Glad I'm not wasting my GF's. Only a couple of items there that will even help me. I've tried Blofields, but it won't tell me what what I'm actually using in defense when I'm attacked. I'm just trying to figure out what I can give away. I need somebody to attack me, and copy and paste what I'm using.
Yeah, I'm done with GS, only picking up 2 on those, same with TNT's. Concentrating on Zoloto Sports cars, still getting a 12 bump there. As I said before, I'm concentrating on offensive weapons, because I don't get attacked that often, and when I do, they aren't getting anything useful from me moneywise anyhow. But my fighting sheet is full of people several hundred levels higher than me. Go on my wall to see who I attacked yesterday. A level 6959, that I managed to ice, despite his top drawer defensive weapons. Have at him yourselves! Can't figure out why I was able to ice him. His defensive stat's must be non-existent.
I got in with an invite from a team member. No invites to give out though. I am almost done with E1. Some interesting new dimensions.
Money management is pretty critical in the early stages of bangkok. I'd try to get as many of those gift envelopes as you can, and be strategic with cash - I am glad they won't open e3 for a few weeks, as I want to use the time to build up cash reserves; to upgrade businesses. SOme jobs actually take CASH away from you. One of the E2 jobs takes away B$500 each click.
I am in L3 of E2 right now, and will make sure I master both episodes before E3 and 4 opens. It does not look like it matters much which faction you choose initially, as the loot is just ok. But it is important to build up reputation with the factions, so you can purchase really good (but really expensive) items from the faction store.
I love trying to figure out the best strategy to move forward.

From the little I have done so far it does seem like money is going to play a critical role to begin with. Not sure how I am going to play things out yet as I just went past L1 E1. I have been waiting to use my energy pack to make full use out of it. This afternoon I should be able to go full force in Bangkok.
I'm a little frustrated cuz I can't get into any of my games. I played a little mafia wars and then went to send/receive gifts and now I can't get back in. Guess I don't really need to play, but dang it, i want to!
