satellite setup and locals?

I am trying to hook up an extra Direct TV SD receiver I have out in my shed. I used an 18" dish and pointed it to 101 and get everything except my Rochester NY locals. Does anyone know which satellite my locals are on? Also when I went into the setup it doesn't let me select the 18" dish, it just lists the slimline-5 as my setup. Is there a place to select your satellite dish setup?

Your sd locals are on 119, so you will need the Phase III dish.

Chip, Thanks for the reply. When I do a new dish hook up how do I change my settings from slimline-5 and do you have to run a switch check like you do with Dish?

I don't know how the Dish setup works, so I can't help there. The dish setup for Directv is through the menu, of course, but I don't remember exactly how. Why it wouldn't let you select anything other than the Slimline is strange. Did you see other dishes in the menu? I'm sure someone else will chime in that has a better memory than I do! Even though slimeline pops up, it should let you highlight and scroll with the remote through the dish and switch types.

The only reason it wouldn't let you select is that if it's swm then it would automatically select it for you but it's not so ya that is strange
