About a week ago, Sat A began to drop out. No warning or obvious sign of trouble. I live in So. Cal., so it's not weather.

Through research on this and other boards, I think it's the triple LNB. But I'd like to be sure before I buy a replacement. Because it might be the multiswitch.

Here's the weird part -

Testing sat signal when it drops, here is the result:

o = no signal
x = good signal

1 - 8 o x o o o x o x
9-16 o x o o o x o x
17-24 o x o o o x o x
25-32 o o o x o x o x

Any suggestions on how I isolate this problem? How to I check the triple LNB quality? How do I check the voltage on the multiswitch?

Any suggestions are appreciated.

If you have a phase 3 dish the LNB and multiswitch is one unit you will replace both if you replace the piece that screws to the arm on the dish.
