That blows.
I have a local situation where a new low power station has come online that is getting picked up instead of my full power CBS station.
They both use 6.1 as their number and I need to be able to manually enter my CBS station.

Just wondering about updates. Just automatic? Does Dish give you a message or something to let you know your Hopper was updated?

It updates during the normal 1am update where it gets program guide data. I don't know if it indicates that it is also updating software or if it takes longer, etc, etc.

Has anyone with S237 noticed an increase in speed? I'm still on s234 and I swear it seems to get slower everyday. I can hit the info button and it usually takes 3-5 seconds for anything to come up.

No, it has no more impact than if you went to your mailbox every 10minutes in order to get you postman to deliver sooner.
