I think the question is which provider is best for you. Both should work with most dishes. If you're going to be a new subscriber, Dish's new Eastern Arc satellite locations could save you some problems with trees if you're using your rig on the East Coast.

Thank you very much... I live on the West Coast (San Diego)... I heard something about DTV switching to another band, and that Dish would be a better choice for RV'ers with the Kingdome sat (HD Channels)...
