Rumored price increase for 2/1/08

.....THis year they eliminated the Platinum pack and everyone paid $20.00 no matter what for hd. So if they spun off the Voom channels we should see our bills drop in half.

So, would it break down something like this ?

$10 for HD Basic = HD EXACT mirrors of SD channels + HDNet (to avoid lawsuits like D* got)

$10 for HD Extra Pack = FoodHD, HGTVHD, HDNetMovies, UHD, DiscHDTheater, MHD, Voom15

My guess is they would include Food and HGTV in the same packages that their SD counterparts are in (I realize that they have different schedules).

When I got Dish, I got the special deal for a month. Then, it increase the price the following year and after. Atleast it is still cheaper to get Cable.
