What have the Giants done that would make you assume that could happen?

It's not like the Giants have been one and done in the playoffs like some teams I know!

Just because one team has an injured QB and the other team looks awesome doesn't mean the G-Men should automatically win.

Yesterday's Rams/Redskins proved it that no team, regardless of how superior/inferior they are, should just be declared the winner.

I agree, but my point was the Giants have done nothing to say that could happen.

Hmmm . . . in the NFC East, we will not go undefeated, but looking like one great record and home playoff advantage is plausible!

I think it's very possible that the giants go undefeated in the division. IMO, you might lose one to the Eagles, but that's it.

Could it happen again?

At this point I'm hoping for 12-4 as a Giants record..... I think the Cowboys and Eagles will each win at least one from us, and either Pittsburgh and/or Carolina will give us fits...

With the Skins and 'Boys losing surprising games yesterday (The Rams? REALLY??!!?? The Cards... Seemingly a huge upset, but they are division leaders right now) we've now got at least a one game lead after tonight, and may have two games up if we can do to the Browns what we did to them in the 1st qtr. of that preseason game....

Romo being gone is a huge lift for us. Wow, I never thought all three of our foes in the NFC East would be stumbling....

Don't forget you will be without Osi Umenyiora. In that preseason game, Osi dominated against a backup Offensive Lineman to Ryan Tucker. Tucker is expected to be back tonight. The G-Men are still without Osi.

A couple of other times in Patriots history:

Steve Grogan for Tony Eason and then back again because of injuries in 1985.

Steve Grogan and Doug Flutie for Tony Eason in 1988. Then with a playoff berth on the line on the last Saturday of the regular season in Denver, Raymond Berry inexplicably starts an injured Eason (throwing shoulder )........and the rest is history!

Brad Johnson, although 40, is a very serviceable backup. I'd take him over a few starters in this league right now. Namely: Gus Frerotte, Joe Flacco and Matt Cassel.

Super Bowl XXV broke my heart forever. I'm not a Giants fan and this was far, FAR before they beat the Patriots. If you asked me in 1994 who I didn't like, it would have been the G-Men. When you lose a Super Bowl in that fashion, it tears your heart out forever and it still hurts to this day.

OTOH, I will NEVER say anything wrong about their other SB.

They 100% deserved their 1986 championship.

As far as I'm concerned, your team has owned my team: the 1989 playoffs, the Snow Bowl game last year, etc. Cleveland is 9-5 against Buffalo.

I understand your frustration I really do, but the Giants not only beat my team in the Super Bowl, they altered the course of NFL history by doing so!

As much as I was hurt by that loss this past February, I have to respect and admire what the Giants have done.

I will remember last year's Snow Bowl for as long as I live! What a game!

Remember Sabres, I have family in upstate New York, namely in Buffalo and Syracuse. We have an ongoing personal rivalry with them and always get excited when Cleveland plays the Bills and Giants. (Buffalo family are Bills fans and Syracuse family are Giants fans).

Pretty cool you have family in Syracuse- too bad their football team is struggling.

I remember the days when Syracuse was a lock for at least 8 wins and was ALWAYS in a bowl game.

(They were pretty much my college football team growing up on the East Coast- the University of Buffalo, god bless them, but except for that one nice win against Temple with that Hail Mary, have done nothing)
