RF remote for VIP622 drains batteries fast.

Hey guys,

I have a VIP 622. The RF remote drains my batteries in less than 3 weeks(2 weeks if I use rechargeables). I know that RF remotes use more power than an infrared remote, but I wouldn't think that much. So is this normal, or do I need to get another one? Thanks in advance for any info.

My tv2 remotes last 9 months to almost a full year. You need a new remote.
