Restoring deleted DVR events?

Last night I was trying to delete a string of events on my 625 DVR, but I accidently deleted ALL events :yikes (97 hours worth). I called DISH to ask them if there was a way to restore them, the guy said no, but I don't necessarily believe him. I trust you guys more than them. I figure the hard drive is similar to a computer's, where if something is deleted, it's still there but just marked so that it can be overwritten. Anyone know if there's a way to get them back? I'm not sure if my daughter will survive without "Dora Saves the Mermaids"! Thanks in advance!

Ok, thanks. No big deal I suppose. Someone told me their tivo could do it, but I guess this ain't a tivo. Time to start rebuilding.

Tivo has what amounts to a waste basket where "deleted" shows are kept until they are really deleted. After that there is in way to recover them on TiVo either.
