I've run across two items called: Vbox III
They are controllers to move the actuators on C-band dishes (usually)

One is carried by Sadoun, and is called: PowerTech V3000 (V-Box III)

I checked the other unit, and couldn't find it on either GoSatellite nor SatelliteAV, our FTA sponsors.
It is a whole different design (packaging, at least), and is called: V-Box III Antenna Positioner

Previously, the main product on the market was the V-Box-II

Is there any significant difference between the three units?
If so, that would make the core of a good review here on SatGuys.
I know I would enjoy reading it.

As far as I have read, there is still no attempt to make a controller box that will do USALS with an H-H motor like the H180-Moteck.
And that I would like to see !

edit:
Okay, there's an extra button on the remote of the PowerTech V3000
It's the NAME button, and I think it lets you attach an alphabetic name to a sat position.
The LED display appears to be 16-segment, which would do a passable job for letters.
It's unclear how many digits the PowerTech displays for numerical position.
The other units claim three digits.
Does that mean 999 counts from the reed switch?

I saw a review on another site (which I won't mention here) on the VBox III positioner.

It is being distributed by DMSI. Probably manufactured for them with a private label as probably is the PowerTech V3000 you show above.

I entered the contest also! And became a member in the process. Another satellite discussion forum to help keep me informed, as well as occupied.
