Remove Joey from Account?

I think he means terminating the signal from the node or the newer switch that goes to the potential joeys you wouldn’t need on your system.

That's how I read it as well. Coaxial cable at these frequencies is a transmission line, and any change in impedance will cause reflections of the signal back up the cable, and attenuation down line.

That said, terminating a coax with DC voltage on it is also ill advised if the terminator has a 75 ohm resistor to ground.

I have no idea what you're talking about here. Removing a Joey and not terminating is not a big deal, however, if you're talking about terminating a "live" cable from the LNBF at the ground block, that is a HUGE no-no

Agreed, terminating a live cable from the switch or LNBF is not the thing to do.

Feeding coax or hanging coax will can cause ghosting issues. Live LNB switch feeds are totally different.

My bad for not explaining better. Sorry
