remote won't work

i just got home and my remote won't with my HR34 any idea ? i mean the some buttons will work but not the main ones , i tried two already

some buttons was working, but most was dead! i got to tell you i get the weirdest problems that no one ever gets!

Try to reset the remote. Press and hold MUTE + SELECT until the light flashes twice. Enter 981 light will flash four times.

Doing this will reset all codes, tv, av1, av2. You will have to enter your code(s) for your tv and any av gear you had programmed after you have reset the remote.

and last night my GUI turn completely white! is HR34 that unstable yet?
