Remote Problems

I have a 21.1 Pro and the buttons are not working correctly.
It takes 3 or 4 times to get the 0 to work. Can I use contact cleaner, will this help.?

The buttons on Dish remotes are mostly on a rubber or similar pad with contacts molded in to the bottom to make continuity with the board below. For my old Dish and TiVo remotes I disassemble them and wipe both the top of the board and the bottom of the pad with an alcohol soaked cotton cloth. This rubber pad seems to exude an oily substance over time that eventually blocks contact with the board so the oily substance must be removed to restore proper activity by the remote.
