Relocated VIP 222k now not working

Here's my problem, recently bought and activated a VIP 612 DVR and it replaced my VIP 222k in my living room. The bedroom was the TV2 feed from the 222k but I now want to put the 222k in my bedroom as TV1 to get HD as well as run another tv in the other spare bedroom as TV2. Hooked up the 222k and I keep getting the error that one of the inputs is not connected or damaged and I keep running the check switch with no success. Replaced the coax cables with no luck as well. Thought I damaged the 222k on swap over but hooked it up in another room and it worked fine. Why is it then that I can't get the 222k to work in the bedroom as TV1 when it was working as TV2?

there is probably no sat feed in the bedroom. the coax line is for tv2 and goes straight to the living room. you need another line going to the satellite.
