I'd like to record the Masters tomorrow. The last time I recorded something, I could change channels on TV1 but when my daughter tried to change on TV2, it told her that changing would interrupt the recording.
I just want to record 1 channel and watch another channel on both TV's. Is this possible, or will one of the TV's be slaved to the program being recorded? If it's possible, could someone give me a step-by-step on it. The 622 manual doesn't seem to help me.
Not interested in watching a previously recorded program on either TV.
TIA

The 622 will do 5 things at once:
- Record using Sat Tuner 1
- Record using Sat Tuner 2
- Record using OTA Tuner 1
- Send a pre-recorded show to TV1 Output
- Send a pre-recorded show to TV2 Output

If your daughter will be using TV2 to watch a live program from the satellite, then you can record the Masters from TV1. However, if you don't want to watch it right then, then you could either watch a recording, or watch a live show using the OTA tuner.

If the problem is only setting the recording to record on TV1, then set "Recording Plus Disabled" and then from TV1, set your program to record. It will give you a choice of TV1 or TV2. When using RP-Enabled, you previously told it to always record using TV2 unless it had a timer conflict.

Hope this helps.

Edit:
Also, set the 622 up so that TV1 Output and TV2 Output are both modulated, such as TV1 = Channel 61, and TV2 - Channel 63. This way, the TV that is actually remoted can watch either TV1 Output or TV2 Output.
