Receiver info required ??

dishnetwork called me in today and wanted some info from my reciever. they deactivated one of my receiver.. saying they needed to verify infoo

i have 3 receivers...

when i actavated em i updated all the software..

and this kinda seems strange for em to call and want me to do it all over again... that is give em info regarding receiver.. they say my phone aint connected... n i dont have a phone line at home :s

anyone have an idea hwy ?
 
you are the subject of an audit. If you can't provide the info they ask for while they have you on the phone, they assume the receivers are in different locations. This is a violation of the agreement (could be at your friend's, relative's, etc. house) so they shut them down.

If you can tell them what they want to hear, they reasonably know they are all in your house since you have to go to each one and look at the screen.
