R16 question

I am considering upgrading my old sd receiver to sd dvr and have a couple questions.

1- will I get the R16 or are there still R15 out there? (I have read so many problems with the R15)

2- is it true that the R16 only requires one line run to be able to use both tuners?

3- are there any issues with the R16?

Pray for an R22. Thats all I can say. R16 is slow to respond to any command. as far as I know r-16 still needs 2 wires for full function.
Either way you would still have to purchase a single wire Multiswitch even if the R16 is compatible with using a single wire.
IMO the R16 is the same as the R15. Just a different color.

There are very few R16's out there now. Chances are you will get an R22, which is swm capable and only needs one line.

Isn't it possible though to get a R22 but not get SWM?
