OK I probably already know the answer to my question but I thought I would ask you guys anyway.
I have a R15 that will be a year old in a couple weeks and yesterday when I tried to record on one channel while wathing another and it told me I could not.
After reading some posts on here I checked the system info and it says both tuners are OK but when I check the satellite strength tuner 1 was fine and tuner 2 showed nothing.
I went threw everything including auto-detecting the satellite settings.
Nothing works.
I switched the cables from the dish and got the same results tuner 1 had good signal strength, and tuner 2 had no signal.
The problem is I do not have the money right now to pay a tech to come out and tell me I need a new reciever. I don't have the money buy a new reciever right now either but I am guessing that is what I am going to have to do.
