Anyone know why i Wouldn't be getting sat 118 on either of my TV's hooked to my VIP 622? ITs causing me not to get my locals channels.

Thanks in advance. I do notice my signal levels awful low

Like right now, my local NBC Channel 4 is in but in tuner input #1 Transponder 5 Sat 118 signal is 33 same for input 2

Who installed your antenna?
It probably needs to be peaked. (for max signal).

Claude did, but would that make sat 118 just not even be detected?

sat 119 is getting about 94
129 is getting about 61
110 is getting 96
118 is getting in the low 30's but X'd out in the switch check..

I am getting my 2nd 622 brought out today, so maybe this guy will get a low signal level, and maybe fix it without charging me, if not then Ill have to call the big guy local..LOL

Are you sure you have the right dish to get 118? Check with who you got the dish from.

I have the newest dish I am thinking Dish Pro 1000 and 118 is showing up in the check switch list X'd out and at the same time locals are really struggling.

There is a difference between the 1000 and the 1000 PLUS. Only the PLUS dishes are set up for 118, but it sounds like thats what you have. It probably just needs to be realigned. If someone is coming out today to install another 622 he is required to make sure your entire job is up to spec, including the alignment of your dish. Be sure to mention the issue with 118 to him, and if he doesn't fix it call Dish and they will set up a trobule call at no charge to you.

Yep I told him about it, and he went up and took care of it..All is well now..
