Just a note to all the professional service and installation personnel.
I included quotes around the word installers for a reason. I was specifically talking about the lazy folk in the mix that don't/won't do much work, like the one mention in the first post of this thread.
They are far too common in the industry, probably in the majority now.
As to C-band paying well, not. I got paid a fixed weekly salary that worked out to $1/hr over minimum wage for 40 hours. Some days were 5 hour day, some were 10.
We didn't get to negotiate rates either, as the "salesman" set the work order and the customer's cost.
FWIW, I'd love to see a Dish install on a 20ft pole 100ft from the house.
