i just noticed on a post from the person from maryland with a sg2100, you told him his motor elevation is 51deg and dish elevation 24deg...i am now confused! i live in central california and you gave me similar specs except 53deg for motor elevation and dish elevation 24deg.. how can that be when we are so far apart on lat and long...mine is long-120.61154 and lat 37.398019...but you are the expert so i will believe you..

I dont have a motor, but you guys would have different true south birds, so that might account for it.

Hello Mr.Crane His lat. was 39 deg. and yours is 37, this accounts for the difference in motor elevation, but you are right both dish elevations are much the same at around 24 deg. I get the angles from the SG2100 manual.

for a motorized setup, it depends on your latitude....even though there are different true south, your teur south is the highest in the arc

so someone in cali their true south may be G10, whereas in MN its IA6
